How to Prepare a Strong Application

  1. Get your English test score ready. PTE Academic, IELTS, or TOEFL is required for almost every scholarship above.
  2. Write a compelling Statement of Purpose. Be specific — why this scholarship, why this country, what impact will you create.
  3. Get strong references early. Contact professors or employers 4–6 weeks before the deadline.
  4. Check Embassy-nominated quotas. For ICCR, KGSP, and ADB-JSP, Nepal’s Ministry of Education and respective embassies hold reserved seats.
  5. Apply to more than one. Each scholarship has different criteria — apply to all that you qualify for.
